Palpung Sampel Chöling
Kenting Tai Situ Rinpoché is the founder and director of our center. He is one of the most important lamas of the Kagyu lineage, and since the 1980s, he has been teaching in the West. He habitually resides in Sherab Ling (India).
Linked to the Palpung centers are the Shangpa and Karma Kagyu lineages, whose maximum representative of the latter is the XVII Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
Since 2020 Kalu Rinpoché, Gyalton Rinpoché, and lamas connected with Palpung Sherab Ling (India) have visited us, giving teachings and initiations.
We hope that each year we can count on the presence of one of them to study in depth the Dharma.
Regularly, during good weather, practice days are performed on the weekend, as well as meditation retreats or practitioner meetings.
The first part of Phase 1 of the project is the structural consolidation and retrieval of the buildings of the Sampere Village, an old family farm for cultivation and livestock farming.
The second part of Phase 1 is the construction of a temple and stupas.
